Terms of sale
Last updated 18 October 2026
These terms apply to the Cercle Pro subscription sold to organizers and to using Cercle to sell or buy tickets, memberships and session packs. They add to the Terms of Service (/terms) and the Privacy Policy (/privacy).
1. Who sells what
Cercle (cercle.events and the mobile app) is operated by [À COMPLÉTER : nom ou raison sociale de l'éditeur], [À COMPLÉTER : forme juridique et n° SIREN/SIRET], [À COMPLÉTER : adresse postale]. VAT: [À COMPLÉTER : n° de TVA, ou mention d'exonération (ex. art. 293 B du CGI) si applicable]. Contact: hello@cercle.events.
Cercle is a platform: a club organizer sells their own tickets, memberships and session packs to participants. The seller is the organizer named on the club or event page. Cercle provides the tool, is not a party to the contract between organizer and participant, and does not guarantee that an event takes place.
Cercle itself sells only the Cercle Pro subscription to organizers, and takes a commission on sales made through the platform (article 4).
2. Prices
Organizers set the prices of their tickets, memberships and packs freely; they are shown before payment in the stated currency and include taxes where the seller is subject to them.
Cercle Pro costs €29 per month per club (VAT included where applicable). Cercle may change this price with at least 30 days' notice, for the next renewal; subscribers can cancel before the new price applies.
3. Cercle Pro: the organizer subscription
Cercle Pro is a monthly subscription, per club, that removes the 5% commission on that club's sales and gives access to the Pro features described on /host/plus at the time of purchase.
It renews automatically each month and can be cancelled at any time from the club admin area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; the current period is not refunded pro rata unless the law requires it.
An organizer acting for professional purposes has no right of withdrawal. A consumer organizer has 14 days to withdraw; if they ask for the subscription to start immediately, they pay pro rata for what was provided until withdrawal.
4. Cercle's commission
Without Cercle Pro, Cercle takes 5% of the price of each ticket, membership or pack sold through the platform. With Cercle Pro active, Cercle's commission is 0%.
The payment provider's fees apply on top, under its own terms. The exact commission is shown to the organizer before they put something on sale.
5. Payment and provider
Payments are handled by a third-party provider (currently Whop) on the organizer's behalf. The organizer must open a payout account and finish the identity verification the provider requires before they can sell.
The provider's terms apply to charges, payouts, disputes and chargebacks. The provider may refuse, hold or freeze a payment or an account under its own rules; Cercle is not responsible for that.
6. Tickets, memberships, trials, founder price and packs (participants)
A ticket gives access to an event on a set date. Under article L221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure activities provided on a set date or at a set frequency. An organizer may offer a more generous refund policy, shown on their page.
A membership is a recurring subscription to a club (monthly, yearly, or a one-time "lifetime" payment where the organizer offers it). It can be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
When a club offers a free trial, nothing is charged during the trial; the paid membership starts when it ends unless you cancel before. The trial is granted once per person and club.
When a club offers a founder price, it is kept at every renewal while the membership stays continuous; if it lapses and restarts, the price in force at that time applies.
A session pack gives a number of credits to book that club's paid sessions. Cancelling a booking before it starts returns the credit. Credits have no expiry date today; they are not refundable, except if the club stops or the law requires it.
If an organizer cancels an event, they refund the tickets: they can do so from their admin area, depending on the payment provider's capabilities.
7. Organizer responsibilities
The organizer alone is responsible for their events: venue, safety, insurance, permits, alcohol and food, participants' age, invoicing, VAT and taxes, the information given and compliance with the law. Cercle does not check venues, insurance or how events are run.
The reliability score and club statuses are automatic indicators; the organizer decides freely whether to use them to limit access to their events, without any discrimination the law forbids.
8. Prohibited activities
You may not sell through Cercle anything illegal or that the payment provider prohibits (including sexual content and services). Cercle may refuse, suspend or remove a club, an event or an account, and funds remain subject to the payment provider's rules.
9. Data collected by organizers
When an organizer collects email addresses (the "notify me" form or an import), they are responsible for that data: they must inform people, obtain consent before any marketing message, let them unsubscribe, and not resell the data. Cercle acts as their technical processor. See the Privacy Policy.
10. Complaints and mediation
For any complaint about Cercle: hello@cercle.events. For a purchase from an organizer, contact the organizer first; Cercle can help reach them.
Consumers may use the following consumer mediator free of charge: [À COMPLÉTER : nom et coordonnées du médiateur de la consommation].
11. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving a consumer of the mandatory protection of the law of their country of residence. Cercle may change them; the update date is at the top of the page and important changes are notified. Sales already made stay subject to the terms in force at the time of purchase.
